Hey guys! Once a month or so we'll be recommending various stories from multiple fandoms found on the board. We'll be doing this in the hopes of inspiring awareness towards the great stories we host here to both new and old members alike  Be sure to read and review 
I chose Niz's story 'First Born' due to the wonderful way she carefully weighs each word to create the most impact. Every word is lyrical and the imagery she inspires in all of her works makes for a very enjoyable read.

So, its my turn now and I thought it would be good to go back to DA...
So I chose Faithrss'story 'You were right', because I think that even though its a short story, there is so much about it, Faithie managed to put so much emotions in her words and you can really feel Max's pain and its just real. She managed to make it all real, and I love it for that and even though its heavy with angst it's still beautiful to read. Hope you like it.
(Not so good with why I love it, I just do).

Woot! They're letting me come out and play now!
I'm recommending Girltype's Comin' to Get You. This story is the next level from hysterical and one of my favorite Jondy fics. There's some super cute Alec too.

Okay, so the next story I'd like to recommend is by Alexis. I've loved her writing for years now and the story I'm about to recommend is one of my all time favorite Dark Angel stories.
It's well written and thought out. It balances just the right amount of plot, and angst, and action, and smut. It's funny, it's heartbreaking, it's sometimes frustrating because let's all face it, Max could be quite stupid at times, and it's hot.
And, for those who are underage, or who don't like reading smut, she also gives her readers the option of reading PG-13 versions of her smutty chapters. If you like humour, and angst and great characterization and a strong plot, then I highly recommend reading Alexis' Escape and Evade. So read, enjoy and by all means, feel free to review and let her know how much you loved it.

Yeah, me again!!
So, I thought I would recomend a story that, in not just my opinion, is one of the best ever written. And even though it is still a WIP, which I think it wil hardly be completed, it is still worth to be reminded.
I'm talking about BlackAngel's 'High School Missions'.Its an amazing action story, with great plot, very well written, funny, cute, sad and you can not fall in love with it.
So hope you dont kill me for reminding everyone of this story that doesnt have an ending at the moment. But trust me, re read it or go ahead and read it for the first time. You wont have any regrets.

Well Scar was supposed to go next, but she's useless when you need her to actually do something. Heh.
Okay, the next story that I'm recommending is an Alias piece. It's by the lovely Riane, who was an author I stumbled upon when trying to recruit some authors to the board awhile back. It's Sark/Syd for those wondering and it's just such a great read. Riane is another one of those authors who's writing style is so unique and engaging and she draws you in from the very first word. It's a haunting, gripping and mesmerizing read and I hope you will all enjoy the story as much as I did when I first read it.

I'm recommending Constars' "Laundry Night". It's a hot little number that left us begging for a sequel. When you read it it plays in your head like you're watching it and makes you wonder how it never actually got written into the show.

Sorry this is a bit late but real life has been unbelievable lately.
Anyway, the next story I'm going to recommend is by Roonblah. It's a great little stand alone that had me laughing my ass off when I first read it, and it still amuses me to this day. In addition to the wonderful humour, Roonblah also manages to throw in a little sprinking of angst, much to my delight. Her descriptions are wonderful and you really feel as though you're sitting next to Max and Alec and Alec's butt, heh. So seriously, go and read it and show her some appreciation.

Okay, here's my rec now that I found the thread.
Salvation, by Evonness - great stuff, reads like a novel - and a great one at that. It's hot, it's sweet, there's angst, shit blows up... it's an Alias fic, though, so that's to be expected. Sydney/Sark
Read it, love it and so on.

ohh me again, I have no idea why I keep getting asked to do this since I like pretty much anything and everything hee
So, I've decided to rec Fayth's story Moving Ahead
Which is a sequel to Left Behind , but I'm pretty sure you all wont mind to read the prequel too.
Why? Is just one of those magic stories in my opinion hee It's perfectly written, Fayth just gets how the characters would be if they were in that situation. I cant really express how woderful her OC are. So read it, I promise no one will regret it.

I'm going to recommend 'The Escort' by Shay and Wildsky (formerly with SGOU).
This was a story I fell in love with when it was first posted, and I was very sad to see it left unfinished. However, Shay has found a new writing partner and this story is being continued! A new chapter was posted a couple of days ago and it was awesome and I'm dying for more.
The story is funny, and engaging, and the premise is quite unique. And the characterization is true to form.
So everyone please go and read it. It's worth your time. Seriously.

Me again!
The next story I'd like to recommend is by Wildsky, our newest addition to the board.
The story I'm going to recommend by her is from her 'Before I sleep' series. I must admit, I haven't read much Dark Angel fic lately, my fascination being more with Supernatural these days. However, that quickly changed when I sat down to read the first part of Wildsky's series entitled 'Chimera.'
I don't think I've been so enrapted by a Dark Angel story in years. Not only is the writing superb, the plot excellent, and the flow addictive, but the characterization is top-notch. Not only has Wildsky done a great job with all the characters we're grown to love, such as Max and Alec and Joshua among others, but she's also managed to create a whole new group of characters that you end up caring about as much as the original Dark Angel cast. And as someone who was never really invested in original characters, I was stunned to find myself on more than one occasion wanting to know what was going to happen to them more than Max or Alec.
I highly, highly recommend this story and I hope you'll all read it and give it a chance. There are a lot of chapters, but they're short. I was able to read the whole first part of her series in one day. So please, read, enjoy and I promise you won't be disappointed. And be sure to leave Wildsky a review letting her know how much you're enjoying it. They're always appreciated.

Here you go folks, today I'm setting up arrows, flashing lights and a fluorescent runway strip to direct you to: When it Changes
This is another hit fic by the wonderful Restive Nature. It is my favourite Supernatural/Dark Angel crossover fic.
The way the two 'verses are brought together fits perfectly so it is not distracting or confusing to follow the timelines set up from the shows within the story. This story has plot, humour, wit, heat and so much more. Restive has also written companion pieces posted under: What if… . And on top of that she's also written: J. Winchesters, Hunting Journal, which gives all the journal entries from the hunts that correspond with When it Changes.

So, I'm gonna recomend a story I really really love. Its Anything and Everything from Sue. I'm got gonna blah non stop about it, you just have to read it to see why I love it. It is in fact amazingly written. And not to mention Sue is the most sweet person I know. This one has been one of my fav ever since it was born. Have fun.
